To seek permission to authorise capital expenditure of £11,500 on the creation of a Dementia Garden at the Civic Centre

There has been a long-term aspiration of creating a Dementia Garden at the Civic Centre, promoted by Cllr Jane Bell the current Mayor and supported by Cllr Jones who is the portfolio holder for the Environment.

There is funding available within the Green Links capital budget.

The creation of Dementia gardens is part of a wider Green links programme of improving green spaces and creating new Green corridors across the Borough.
