The note of the last meeting was circulated for information.

The Chair explained that the forum had been reconvened in response to the previous meeting, where Drivers expressed an intention to respond to the consultations with a joint response. A space had been provided prior to the forum in order to allow drivers to meet and discuss the response, should they wish.

The trade confirmed that they were happy with the proposals within the consultation items and confirmed that they understood the process for responding. The consultation would finish on 17 February 2022.

The Licensing Manager advised that Officers were liaising with the Leyland Town Team to discuss the placement of taxi ranks on Hough Lane. An impact assessment would take place, once designed a meeting should take place to enable consultation. However, this would be clarified outside of the meeting.
