The panel considered an application for the variation of a Premises Licence submitted under the Licensing Act 2003.

With the permission of the panel and in accordance with the council?s hearing procedure the Senior Solicitor introduced the application.

The Principal Solicitor informed the panel that following the publication of the report, the applicant had been in consultation with the council?s Environmental Health. The applicant had taken on board Environmental Health?s representations which included reduced hours and additional conditions attached to the premises licence. As a result Environmental Health had subsequently withdrawn its objections to the application. Whilst copies of the amended licence conditions had also been circulated to the local residents that had made representations they did not want to withdraw their objection.

The applicant then addressed the panel and questions were asked.

Having fully considered the representations (written and oral) made by the objector and the application made by the applicant, the panel retired to reach its decision.

The panel took into account the provisions of the Licensing Act 2003, the guidance issued in respect of it and the council?s own policy document.
RESOLVED:
that the application to vary the premises licence be granted subject to the attachment to the premises licence of the appended permitted hours and licence conditions.
