Nomination and Election of the Mayor for 2014/15, Councillor Graham Walton It was PROPOSED by Councillor Marsh and SECONDED by Councillor Yates that Councillor Walton be elected Mayor of South Ribble for the municipal year 2014/15. ? RESOLVED (UNANIMOUS): that Councillor Walton be elected Mayor of South Ribble for the municipal year 2014/15. ? Councillor Walton and Mrs K Walton were presented with their chains of office by the retiring Mayor, Councillor Mrs?Gardner. ? Councillor Walton signed his declaration of acceptance of office and took the chair. ? The Mayor appointed Father Xavier Ho as his chaplain for his year of office and then addressed the Council. |
