That permission be granted to allow South Ribble Leisure Limited to enter into a sublease arrangement with “That Foot Shop Ltd” as per the terms outlined in appendix 1.

 

Reasons for decision:

 

The Estates Department have conducted a thorough marketing exercise, with the potential tenant providing an offer which significantly exceeds the highest and best price for the space in line with Section 123 of the Local Government Act 1972.

 

Other options considered and rejected:

 

Were the space not to be let, this would impact the potential revenue generation of the tennis centre and would result in a loss over the term of the agreement.
